Welcome and may the Love Light of the Universe illuminate you this month.
One would think that Rose Quartz would be a featured stone this month but, alas, it is not. on the romance side, we do still have the Garnet as one of the options for February so I guess that will have to do.
Please remember that this list is compiled from several other lists and does contain crossovers from month to month. As always, please let your own intuition help in choosing the proper stone/crystal for you or others at this stage in your life. Different stages may need different stones, so if one doesn’t feel right anymore, perhaps it is time to either cleanse it or put it away for a while and use another.
AMETHYST--Works with the Crown Chakra, gentle allover healer. This opens for intuition and messages through the Crown chakra but may be used wherever it is needed for bringing in the Violet healing light. It aids soothing in times of distress; connects one to the angelic realm as well as with the devic realm. It is excellent for meditation and used to protect against psychic attacks by sending said attacks out into the Universe where they are transformed into a positive, loving energy. Ancients used the Amethyst to help support sobriety and is a good aide to help resist addictions. Also may be used to help repel fleas from cats by placing a few small crystals or one mid-sized crystal into the cat's water dish. (I have a friend who swears by this and is constantly getting more to have on hand...it's good to change the stones out now and again to give the immersed ones a chance to re-energize.)
TURQUOISE--Turquoise is said to help tone and strengthen the entire body; tissue regeneration; circulation; lungs; respiratory system; aid in vitalizing the blood and the nervous system. It also is said to aid with meditation; creative expression; peace of mind; emotional balance; communication by working with the throat Chakra; friendship; and loyalty. It is a special stone to those of Native American descent and enhances luck to those who are drawn to this stone. It is a softer stone and is often stabilized. It is also one of the stones which gets imitated by dying Howlite to the turquoise color.
GARNET--Garnet is sometimes called ‘the poor man’s Ruby’. It does come in several colors with varying additional properties but, overall, it is said to help release all types of fears; works with issues one may have with masculine or dominant people in ones life, either now or in the past; works in the root Chakra (when it is the red garnet) bringing in more grounding and energy. Red Garnets also attract and inspire romantic love, positive thoughts, inspiration, energy, past life recall, and self confidence. Garnet is also considered to be a ‘stone of health’, aiding with the extraction of negative energies from the chakras and transmuting that negativity into a positive force.
ONYX--Onyx is a form of Chalcedony. It is said to aid with centering and alignment of the total person with higher powers. It is often gifted to someone who is grieving to aid with releasing and banishing that grief. Also said to aid with self-control, wise decision making, encouraging happiness and good fortune. It may also aid with absorbing the energies needed from the Universe. It may also stimulate ones intuition for new opportunities as well as seeing and feeling additional guidance.
CLEAR QUARTZ--Quartz is one of the basic elements combined into many other crystals and stones. It is said to enhance the crystalline properties of blood, body and mind. It is also said to help activate and enhance pineal and pituitary glands; aid with emotional balancing; stimulate brain functions; and amplify thought forms. Its full spectrum of energy helps activate all levels of consciousness. It will also help to dispel negative energy in ones energy field and in the surrounding environment. It receives, activates, stores, transmits and amplifies energy. It is an excellent crystal for meditation; enhances interdimensional communication and communication with ones Higher Self an Spirit Guides. It is an all-purpose crystal and may be programmed for any positive intent.
SAPPHIRE--One of the hardest gemstones short of a Diamond. It is considered a royalty stone. It is said to work with Throat Chakra to help open communications and bring in clarity. It is calming and soothing...a tranquil beauty. It is said to assist with allover healing and brings strength to the wearer. Sapphire also comes in many colors from the most recognized blue, white, black, purple, yellow, and green. Sapphire is also one of the stones/crystals which is often lab grown and is often used in scientific equipment because of the hardness. The lab grown varieties carry the same energies as the natural but do tend to need cleansing and energizing a bit more than the natural. White Sapphire has the ability to remove blockages and encourage creative thinking/solutions as well as prosperity.
