Victoria Price brings her unique story to the national and international stage as an author, inspirational speaker, blogger, designer, artist & art consultant, and interspiritual & interfaith minister.
Following in her father's footsteps, Victoria has become a popular speaker on inspirational topics ranging from the daily practice of joy, how finding your magic word can change your life, living your legacy of yes, wildflowering your way back whole, making peace with our past stories to expand our creative futures, as well as the life of her famous father, Vincent Price.
In 2012, Victoria was invited to be a TedX speaker, giving the talk and over the past fifteen years, Victoria has spoken around the world to audiences who have enjoyed her ease, erudition, and inspiration in sharing her enthusiasm for living a joy-filled life. Victoria's popular blog, Daily Practice of Joy, chronicles the journey back to joy which began in 2011.
In 2016, after living in Santa Fe, New Mexico for a quarter century, Victoria embarked on an ongoing journey of intentional homelessness.
As an interfaith/interspiritual minister, Victoria performs weddings as well as other ceremonies and rituals, leads workshops, gives inspirational talks, as well as works one on one with clients in her life coaching practice at Red Shoes Ministry.
Victoria’s critically acclaimed biography of her father, Vincent Price: A Daughter’s Biography, was published in 1999. She has written for the New York Times, A&E’s Biography, and many other national, regional, and local magazines, newspapers, and television programs. Price has also appeared on Good Morning America, A&E’sBiography, NPR’s Fresh Airand Morning Edition, BBC Radio Three, and many other national, regional, and local TV and radio programs. Articles about Price and her work have appeared in such national and international publications as the New York Times, USA Today, People, Travel & Leisure, Art & Auction, and Sunset.
She has taught at the University of New Mexico, New Mexico Highlands University, and the Philos School–an alternative arts-and-humanities school in Santa Fe that she helped to found. Price earned a bachelor’s degree in art history and theatre from Williams College, which has one of the most prestigious art history programs in the country. Additionally she completed the doctoral program in American Studies at the University of New Mexico.
Victoria believes that “we are all born fluent in joy” — and she has dedicated her life to sharing the spiritual practice of connection and presence in joy.
