Greetings everyone!!!

I thought I would add a bit about Lapis Lazuli to the Crystals section of my blog. I acquired some very wonderful pieces which have been made into necklaces and there will be a few more made into just pendants. I will post pictures and prices in the next blog entry under sale items. I will also try to include a link for PayPal for the buyer's convenience...HOWEVER...these are pretty much one of a kind pieces and will be subject to prior sales at shows.
It will ALWAYS be best to e-mail me to see if they are still available prior to the on-line purchase.

Lapis Lazuli is a beautiful blue stone which, most of the time, has Iron Pyrite mixed through it. It is mentioned in the Edgar Cayce readings as being a very desirable stone for healing/energy work and is considered a good protective stone for those who deal with the public. It is said to help keep other people's "junk" from clinging to you...an especially desirable trait if the wearer happens to be empathic or psychic...(though it is of benefit to everyone who wears it.)

The blue of the Lapis works with the color of the Throat Chakra to aid in communications but is also considered to be one of the better stones for opening the Third Eye Chakra.

If just beginning to work on opening the Third Eye...(the area right between the eyebrows)...one can take a piece of the Lapis and lay it there during meditation.

I did that when I was first starting. I worked night shift at the time and went out to my vehicle during the lunch break...set a timer and leaned back with the stone on my forehead. It was a good thing there were not too many people outside at the time...I'm sure I would have been razzed about it if there hadd been.

The Lapis is a gentle opener...very calming and yet somewhat grounding due to the Pyrite it contains.

The other suggested stone for opening the Third Eye is Azurite but it can be a bit overwhelming for the novice so Lapis is really the best choice.

I don't currently have the loose, tumbled stones but I do have the necklaces and a few pendant pieces...which, as I stated at the start of this blog, I will be posting in the Sale Items area of the blog as soon as I get some good pictures.

Thanks for stopping by my blog pages!!!

Many Blessings to All!!!
