Well, it's been a long time since I've been able to add anything to the blog but... I'M BAAACK!!!

I came across a paper a few months ago which I found quite handy. It was a concise sheet for quick reference to animals and the gifts/lessons they hold.

Most people who visit this blog already know about Ted Andrews and Animal Speak but it is a rather large book to carry in your hip pocket or even in your purse so I thought this was a great 'quickie' guide.

I wanted to do this right since the paper was copyrighted and I e-mailed Mariah Roe to obtain her permission to post this in my blog. It took a while since she was out of town for most of the summer but I finally did receive her permission... (I have it in my saved files)... and I am posting it now. I am including the entire message from her as well as her copyright and sources at the end.

The following is a general list of some animals and the lessons/gifts they carry. They are my individual views from what I have personally experienced. I am certain there is overlap with traditional animal teachings. I want to stress that while each animal has definite traits to its personality, an animal appears to teach you personally; so therefore, always honor your own intuition and feelings towards the animal. One of the things I recommend whenever an animal starts to work with you, is ask it why it has appeared to you and what it wants to share with you.
